McKillop welcomes Bushmills TIC news

MOYLE TUV councillor Sharon McKillop has welcomed progress on securing a new Tourist Information Centre in Bushmills.

She said: “This is a badly needed development and one which I and other elected representatives have worked hard to achieve.

“A cross party group including local MLA Jim Allister have attended a number of meetings with Bushmills Traders Association, Moyle District Council and the NI Tourist Board in order to work towards this outcome.

“I understand that there will be proper parking and adequate signage for the new facility.

“It is also planned that it will house a small museum.

“Local traders are to be commended for the work they have put in in order to arrive at this outcome,” she concluded.
