McKinley family say thanks

THE family of the late Mr Danny McKinley wishes to thank the local community for all their support following the recent death of the Ballycastle man.

Mr McKinley, a well-known and popular figure in the area, passed away suddenly in August, he was just 42.

The father of three, Mr McKinley lived at Glenmakeeran and carried on a successful farming business.

His tragic death has caused much grief to a close knit family and the surrounding area.

His wife and children would like to pass on special thnaks to the paramedics and Dr Hegarty, Father Fulton and Dallats Undertakers.

They are also indebted to the men who helped with the car parking, the ladies in the parish hall, the men who dug the grave and had a private toast at the graveside, the girls who helped at the wake and all who attended the house and the funeral.

His wife Veronica added: “I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who sent cards and phoned. To family and friends who cried with us and held our hands and people who sent sandwiches, scones and Irish stew etc.

“Also appreciation goes to our two good friends who are helping with the farm and stock.”
