McQuillan welcomes A29resurfacing assurances
DUP MLA Adrian McQuillan says he is pleased to have received assurances from the Minister of Environment that the stretch of the A29 Drumcroon Road from The Two Bridges to Killykergan will now be added to the departments Trunk Road Resurfacing Programme.
Mr McQuillan told The Coleraine Times: “This is very welcome news, not only for those who use this road on a daily basis to travel to and from work, school etc. but for visitors who use this road to access the North Coast from the Mid Ulster area and beyond. With the recent announcement of the British Open returning to Portrush and with the yearly gradual increased tourism figures for Northern Ireland it is fundamental that all our trunk roads are in optimum condition.”
