McShane praises Ballycastle cannabis swoop

Cllr McShane said: “The discovery of a cannabis haul which is believed to have a value up to £700,000 is to be welcomed.

“The scale of this cannabis factory in the town centre is massive. I praise the police in this operation to take these drugs off our streets.

“Sinn Féin has been extremely vocal in recent years about drugs issues in the town and we have met with the police on many occasions around drugs issues in the town.

“Any illegal drugs which are taken off our streets is to welcomed. We will continue to work with all of the relevant agencies to push on this issue.”
