MEA Council to pay over £37,000 to Local Government Staff Commission
Mid and East Antrim Council’s Policy and Resources Committee has agreed to pay an invoice for £37,520 to the Local Government Staff Commission, equivalent to 5.29 per cent of the Commission’s budget.
The allocation is based on the rateable value of Mid and East Antrim District Council as a proportion of the total rateable value of all district douncils.
The Commission has defined its four key performance areas for 2015/16 as talent and development, recruitment and diversity, people strategies and corporate governance
According to a council report, the amount requested is a reduction of £1766 in comparison with the combined allocation for predecessor Councils in 2014/15.
