Media scramble over Andrea Begley’s homecoming

RUMOURS are circulating that The Voice winner Andrea Begley will return home on Thursday, a day ahead of the street party planned in Pomeroy.

Media outlets across the Province have been scrambling to confirm when the singer will return.

It is believed that Andrea will spend some time with her family on Thursday evening, before the celebrations.

On Friday banners and balloons will be out in Pomeroy to celebrate her homecoming.

Live music will be on offer in the centre of the village from 5pm onwards and Cookstown District Council will be presenting Andrea with a Civic Award to recognise her amazing achievement on the BBC singing competition.
