Meet the leaders of future at Dunluce

Dunluce School has announced their head boy and head girl for the 2014-2015 school year.

Isaac Malcolm and Emma Howard follow in the proud footsteps of senior prefects going back over five decades.

Isaac, who has been attending Dunluce since moving on from Castleroe Primary School in 2010, explained what it meant to be selected as head boy.

“I am incredibly proud of this school. It’s a place where everyone is pushed to achieve their potential. There is always so much going on and I have done my best to be involved in everything I could.”

Emma, who joined Dunluce from Ballysally Primary School, was equally surprised, and pleased, to be selected. “This is an amazing time to be a Dunluce pupil. The GCSE results this summer were fantastic; 85% A*-C is incredible and I know our year group are feeling the pressure to continue this success. “

“I have always felt at home here – the way the teachers and pupils cooperate makes it feel like a special place. I hope to do the best I can for the school until then, and go on to do A-levels and, hopefully, gain a university place.” This year’s deputy head boys and girls are: Rebekah Bailey, Amy Cutler, John Allen and Adam Harte
