Meeting on rural crime

Lisburn PCSP will host a special public meeting on the issue of rural crime on Thursday 3 July 2014 in Magheragall Methodist Church Hall at 7pm.

The meeting, which was requested by Alderman William Leathem, has been organised to address fear of crime and to offer practical advice and guidance to rural dwellers about their personal and farm security.

The Area Commander, Chief Inspector Mark Robinson, will be in attendance at the meeting and will give an update on rural crime as well as take questions from those members of the public who attend.

Lisburn PCSP Chairman, Councillor Brian Bloomfield said: “I would strongly encourage rural dwellers from the area to attend and find out how this type of crime is being dealt with by your local police. The Crime Prevention Officer will also be at the meeting to offer his assistance in this area of security.”
