Meeting star Peter Andre was ‘Insania!’

A pair of Newtownabbey Slimming World consultants have received New Year motivation after meeting singer and TV presenter Peter Andre.

Joanne Carter and Sharon Carter met the “Mysterious Girl” singer when he co-hosted the Slimming World Awards.

Joanne, who runs Slimming World groups at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Monkstown on Tuesdays and at Nortel Social Club (The Standard) on Thursdays, commented: “Meeting Peter was a real treat, he was such a nice guy. I can’t wait to help my members hold on to the fabulous changes they’ve made, and to support even more people to become happier and healthier in 2015.”

Peter, who presents Peter Andre’s 60 Minute Makeover, stated: “At the awards I met lots of people who’ve lost incredible amounts of weight and it has completely transformed their lives and their families’ lives too. Every single one of them told me that they couldn’t have made those changes without the support of their Slimming World group and their Consultant, so people like Joanne and Sharon are clearly very important.”
