Mega ‘Movember’ fundraiser for Macmillan

A Movember fundraiser by the men at the Swissport BFS ramp in Belfast international airport, Antrim, has collected a staggering £4.235 for Macmillan cancer support. Pictured here handing over the cheque on Monday, December 14, at the Macmillan Specialist Palliative Care in-patient unit at Antrim Area Hospital are Swissport workers Kevin Surgenor, Kieran McAleese, Anthony McCartney and Kurtis Lynn with representatives of Macmillan including Alison Foster (pictured third from left). Around 30 men completed the Movember challenge while donations were also made by female colleagues and friends to the fundraiser which was organised by Anthony McCartney, Anthony lost his sister Ann Marie to cancer earlier this year and wanted to give something back to MacMillan for their support and kindness. Anthony has extended his sincere thanks to Macmillan and to the many colleagues at Swissport BFS ramp who grew moustaches and to everyone who contributed to the Movember fundraiser in any way.
