Members night at Coleraine Gardening Club

Two members, Leslie Conn and Derrick Turbitt, showed slides of various events from last year.

Leslie showed photos he took at the spring alpine show held in Greenmount and Aberdeen in April and May last year.

Derrick finished with a collection of photos taken at the club’s outing to Glenveagh last August.

The guest speaker at this months meeting is Arthur Dixon from Portadown. Arthur is secretary of the Rose Society of N Ireland and of course his topic is roses.

He will describe the many different types of rose and their cultivation.

This meeting takes place in St. Patrick’s Church Minor Hall, Circular Road, Coleraine on Tuesday, March 23 at 7.30pm
