Memorial Stone for USA Airmen
THERE are plans to put a Memorial Stone in place in the Slieveanorra area near Loughgiel in honour of American Airmen who died during World War Two.
Moyle Council is to make enquiries about the situation following an approach from the Slieveanorra US Airman Memorial Fund.
Cllr Colum Thompson said the group has been in contact with American families and the plan is to put the memorial on the Moyle Way.
