Men arrested after aggravated burglary in Larne

The men arrested are aged 24, 31 and 47.

During the incident, which occured at approximately 9.30pm, a number of masked men entered a house and assaulted a man and a woman.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.

Detective Sergeant Peter Crothers appealed to anyone who was in the area of Blackthorn Rise and who may have noticed any suspicious activity to contact detectives at Reactive and Organised Crime in Larne on the non-emergency number 101.
