Men bailed in connection with aggravated burglary in Larne
Three men aged 24, 31 and 47 have been released on bail pending futher police enquiries in connection with an aggravated burglary in the Blackthorn Rise area of Larne on Sunday July 3.
During the incident, which occured at approximately 9.30pm, a number of masked men entered a house and assaulted a man and a woman. The man was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.
Detective Sergeant Peter Crothers appealed to anyone who was in the area of Blackthorn Rise and who noticed suspicious activity to contact detectives at Reactive and Organised Crime in Larne on the non-emergency number 101.
