Men caught fighting on CCTV outside Magherafelt nightclub denied involvement

Two 22-year-old Bellaghy men captured on CCTV fighting outside a Magherafelt nightclub, were each bound to keep the peace for two years on personal bail of Â£500 when they appeared at the local Magistrates Court.

Odhran Milne, of Ballyscullion Road, and Ruairi Milne, Drumanee Road, admitted disorderly behaviour at Rainey Street carpark on October 17 last.

A prosecuting barrister told the court police were called to a report of a fight ongoing outside the nightclub.

She said as result of the CCTV footage police spoke to both defendants, who denied involvement in the incident.

In reply to District Judge Des Perry, the lawyer said none of the people involved in the fight had made formal complaints to the police.

Imposing the binding over orders, Mr Perry warned Odhran Milne that given his record he needed to be careful in future.
