Men lifted over O’Hara funeral released

A 53 year old man, arrested on December 1 by detectives investigating offences committed at the wake and funeral of Peggy O’Hara in Londonderry in July, has been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.

A 34 year old man also arrested yesterday has been released unconditionally.

Both men were arrested in Strabane and were taken to Belfast for questioning.

Detectives also said they were carrying out a number of searches in Strabane on the same day.
