Men United hit the net with big breakfast

A BIG breakfast event held in the Curran Court Hotel and organised by the Men United, cross-demoninational Bible study group, attracted 36 participants.

Rev John Woodside talked about the Church in the Drogheda area and how the multitude of ethnic backgrounds within the church has led to a vibrant and joyful Christian community in the area.

At the last count there were 18 nationalities and 25 languages spoken within the church.
The message was simple – that everyone is unique and special to God.
Garth Bell of Precept Ministries took the group through a short introduction into the study guide ‘Loving God and loving Others’, which will be the next study book to be used by the group.
Everyone agreed the breakfast and the excellent talks.
The next Men United breakfast and study will be on Saturday, May 18, at the home of Bob Loade, 27 Wyncairn Road, Larne starting with breakfast at 8.30am followed by a time of Bible study which will end at 10.30am.
