Menarys hand over £14,500 to Action Cancer
Generous customers and staff in Coleraine have helped local fashion retailers Menarys and Tempest raise a fantastic £14,500 for Northern Ireland’s leading local charity Action Cancer in their latest fundraising drive.
This year, the continuing partnership venture involved a fun and creative fundraising ‘Pink Saturday’, raffles and energetic static cycle alongside a cause related marketing campaign in October focusing on Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The joint TV, radio and outdoor advertising campaign, fronted by Action Cancer patron Gloria Hunniford, encouraged ladies to be breast aware, whilst highlighting the free breast screening service offered by Action Cancer to women again 40-49 years and 70+. Action Cancer offers 1,000 free mammograms every month, at Action Cancer House and at over 220 locations each year through the unique mobile Big Bus facilities.
