Cathy Henry is a survivor of the deadly septicaemia form of meningitis and wants to try and help others affected by this terrible disease by supporting Meningitis Research.

On December 18th, there will be a disco at the Youth Club with £1 entry fees going towards this worthwhile cause.

On January 4th, 2014, there will also be a New Year’s sponsored walk out to Marconi’s cottage and back.

Cathy hopes to hold a raffle on the night of the disco. If you would like to help in any way through prizes for the raffle, a donation or sponsorship please send us a message through the Moyle Youth Council Facebook page or contact us at the Club.

Lately Cathy won the Club’s member of the month along with Odhran McKellar.

The member of the month scheme was set up this year to reward young people for their achievements within the club.

Both Cathy and Odhran were chosen due to their commitment and helpfulness throughout the summer programme.
