Men’s Shed build Santa sleigh

Following a period of intense activity Drumbo and District Men’s Shed have delivered a full-size, all weather ‘Santa’s Sleigh’ to new owner Councillor James Baird.

The handover was done by Chairman Alex Swan and Treasurer Paul Gregg.

It’s already had ‘test’ outings at Drumbo and Legacurry, and with a Santa on board proved a hit with both parents and children alike.

With members of the Men’s Shed doing the building and James providing the materials, the sleigh is available for family and community events in return for a donation to Chest Heart and Stroke NI this year and in the future, except of course on Christmas Eve when James tells us it’s been reserved by a very important customer.
