Message in a bottle

Ballycastle’s Greenlight Gateway have found a novel and practical use for these ‘waste’ plactic bottles in their imaginative Garden Centre.

Lorraine McCook, the manager of Greenlight Garden Centre said: “We built a recycled ‘Greenhouse’ made of large two litre clear fizzy drink/plastic mineral bottles. The greenhouse will be used to nurture and grow small seeds and plants. We were delighted with the response of schools like Armoy, Straidbilly, Bushvalley and Ballycastle Integrated Primary and also Surestart.”
