Mid and East Antrim Borough Mayor signs Book of Condolence for Paris attacks

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council has today opened Books of Condolence for the victims of the terrorist attacks in Paris.

The Mayor of Mid and East Antrim Borough, Councillor Billy Ashe was the first to sign and has urged that as many people as possible follow his example.

He said: “When the people of Mid and East Antrim Borough sign the Books of Condolence that means we will then be able to offer their heartfelt sympathies to those bereaved and injured due to the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday 13 November.

The Mayor continued: “I would urge people to sign the Books of Condolence for those who lost their lives or were injured in the Paris attacks.”

Mid and East Antrim Borough’s ‘Books of Condolence for victims of the Paris Attacks’ will be available from Monday afternoon at The Braid, Ballymena, Carrickfergus Town Hall and the Smiley Buildings in Larne.
