He told the Mail: “I am pleased to confirm that all reported potholes that I had been made aware of on the Killycurragh Road, Glenarney Road, Knockaleery Road and Cloghog Road [are filled].

“Transport NI have now carried out and completed the work associated with these potholes, which has left the road surface safe once again for road users.

“As we are all aware potholes can become even bigger in a short space of time if not fixed quickly,” he added.

“I would like to thank Transport NI for their quick response and the work in which they have carried out.”
