Mid Ulster councillor wished 'speedy recovery'
A Sinn Fein councillor from the Killeeshil area has been wished a 'speedy recovery' from an unknown illness at a special meeting of Mid Ulster District Council.
It is understood that Cllr McGuigan, who represents the Clogher Valley area, is being treated in hospital.
Councillors joined council chair Trevor Wilson in wishing him well at last night's special meeting to discuss reports from Northern Ireland Water and Northern Ireland Electricity Networks.
Cllr McGuigan was elected to council in 2014 and is a member of the Environment and Policy and Resources Committees.
