Mid Ulster DUP candidate Keith Buchanan pledges '˜to reconnect with grassroots'

Mr Buchanan who is running against his party colleague Ian McCrea said: “It is an honour and privilege to have been selected by the DUP party officers as one of their candidates in the forthcoming Assembly Elections.

“Having been introduced to local politics by Lord Morrow and being an active member of the Mid Ulster Association of the DUP I feel there is a need for the constituents of Mid Ulster to have a representative who can relate to their everyday lives and maintain good contact with the grassroots. Sometimes this can be lacking but I will if elected seek to assist the electorate with the issues that matter to them such as planning, roads, funding, crime, housing and Social Security.”
