Mid Ulster Facebook royal baby predictions off the mark

The majority of royal baby predictions, posted on the Mid Ulster Mail Facebook site, proved to be off the mark, when it was announced on Monday evening that the Duchess of Cambridge had given birth to a baby boy.

Prince William said the couple “could not be happier” following the birth of the boy, who weighed 8lb 6oz and is yet to be named.

In the hours leading up to the birth, Royal baby watchers from across Mid Ulster took to Facebook to guess the sex and likely name of the baby.
