Mid Ulster MLA Michelle O’Neill urges public to be #breastaware

As Cancer Awareness Month continues throughout October, Mid Ulster MLA, Michelle O’Neill, has joined the campaign for both men and women to be ‘breast aware’ and report any changes or worrying developments to their GP.

Ms O’Neill, who was supporting the Public Health Agency’s Be Cancer Aware campaign, said early detection was key to ensuring breast cancer remains one of the most treatable types of the disease.

According to the Public Health Agency, changes to your body which may indicate breast cancer include turned in nipples,lumps, skin changes or crusted nipples.
