Mid-Ulster revellers set for Curtis’ Fanfayre

THE eighth Curtis Magee Fanfayre takes place once again in The Lodge Hotel, Coleraine, from Sunday, June 16 to Wednesday, June 19.

And fans from Mid-Ulster will be making their way to the venue for another great event featuring music by the popular entertainer.

Curtis explaained: “The Fanfayre has regular patrons who come back year after year. They love it and it’s part of their of annual vacation and they always have a cracking good time.”

“For those staying in the hotel for the four nights of entertainment, we also arrange trips out during the day to all the local beauty spots and tourist attractions, such as The Giant’s Causeway, The Bushmills Distillery, and trips around the North Antrim Coast and Green Glens of Antrim.”

An afternoon of music for the local special needs and day centres in the area is also on the agenda.

from 9pm till 1am.

Joining Curtis on stage is a host of fellow stars and friends from the musical world of entertainment.

On Sunday, June 16, Curtis will be joined on stage by the multi talented

Johnny Fingers McHugh, plus special guests Gary Gamble and also Top Country Trio Tracey and The Bar Room Buddies along with resident compere and comedian for the Fanfayre, Ireland’s King of Laughter Gary Wilson.

On Monday, June 17 an array of stars will join Curtis for the night, including Hugo Duncan, Country Harmony, Boxcar Brian, Johnny Fingers and Gary Wilson.

On Tuesday, June 18 Curtis welcomes to the stage two great entertainers Shaun Loughery and the multi-instrumentalist Stephen Smyth. Also appearing on the bill is Country Harmony, Johnny Fingers and Gary Wilson.

Wednesday, June 19 is farewell party night, and sees the Fanfayre finish with Curtis on stage with his two singing daughters Natasha and Shannon. Also on stage will be Ireland’s top duo the fantastic Limelight and also Coleraine’s very own Elvis Tribute act Andy Rodgers along with Johnny Fingers and Gary Wilson.

All nights are open to the public, and admission is payable at the door priced £10. There is a special four day ticket priced £25 available from the Lodge Hotel reception. Doors open at 8.30pm and dancing is from 9pm till 1am each night.
