Mid-week cricket gives £7400 to charity
DONATIONS totalling £7400 were made by the Derry Mid-Week Cricket League in December 2009. The donations were made to over twenty charitable organisations. Among the charities recieving the highest amounts were the Foyleview Special Care Association, the Motor Neurone Association, Foyle Hospice in Londonderry and the NI Children's Hospice.
The overall list of charities included a number of multiple sclerosis charities, the Samaritans, Chest Heart and Stroke and some Cancer charities as well as many others.
