This Pentecostal, Evangelical, community-based Church celebrated their 70th Anniversary and also honoured Pastor Taylor’s 60 years of pastoral care and ministry in the same church fellowship.

It was a wonderful vibrant and very poignant day as the congregation and community packed the Sanctuary to overflowing.

Everyone from the three Choirs, musicians, singers and speakers including guest speaker Pastor Jay Fallon joined in a day of thanksgiving and rejoicing for God’s goodness and grace over seven glorious decades.

MP Ian Paisley, Mervyn Storey MLA and Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Alderman Maura Hickey as well as colleagues from as far away as U.S.A. sent letters congratulating both the congregation and Pastor Taylor.

There was beautiful photographic presentation showing Pastor Taylor’s life story as well as the Church’s history from the early days to what the Church now stands on – a 4½ acre site including Happy Days Children’s Centre. Hundreds of people then stayed to enjoy a delicious supper prepared by the Church’s own Catering Team.

A momentous day and achievement for this Church and Pastor Taylor who have served families to fourth and fifth generation as well as the town of Ballymoney and beyond.
