Milestone for Donacloney

Donacloney Football Club has scored with the borough council by celebrating its 125th anniversary – and the council’s goal is to recognise the achievement.

Local DUP Councillor Mark Baxter said that some sort of civic reception would be in order for a club that has been on the go since Victorian times.

Ulster Unionist Councillor Kyle Savage readily agreed, adding the club was a real asset to the village and its
environs and that a lot of work had gone in for a long time.
