One of the organisers, Danna Heron said: “We’ve looking forward to welcoming lots of old friends back on what will be our 14th year of running the show as well as showing visitors who are coming for the first time to display or just spectate.

“The event promises to be a good family day out but will also help to raise vital funds for a charity close to our hearts. Model displays a combine display North Down Model Club and lorry display.

“This year the theme is ‘from muck to money’, so we’ll have displays with anything to do with muck and dung spreading - anything from a wheel barrow up to a slurry tanker. It’s something we hadn’t really seen done before so we wanted to give it a go.

“And in terms of machinery, we’ll have vintage -anything from first tractors made; from Massey, Ford, and Nuttfileds right up to the models that just came out last year.
