Millbrook park and ride boost

Translink’s Goldline coaches were on display in Larne recently as part of a community information programme at Broadway.

The objective of the exercise was to tell the local community about the benefits of the Millbrook Park and Ride service, particularly as part of a weekly or monthly commute to Belfast.

Carol Lundy, Brand Manager for Translink, said: “We were delighted to bring our Goldline Roadshow to Larne – it was great to welcome local residents and Councillor Ruth Wilson along to take a look at our coaches and hear about the ticket options we have to help passengers save on their commute.”

Carol added: “Whilst our Goldline coaches remain popular in the area, some people haven’t used the service for many years, so inviting people on board is a great opportunity to showcase what we now offer.”

Apart from the luxury coaches, which are all equipped with free access to wi-fi, the Park & Ride in Millbrook “provides a fast, frequent and hassle-free way to get to work, without the stress and additional expense of finding an inner-city car-parking space”, said Carol.

“Coupled with the benefits of free wi-fi on board, allowing passengers to be more productive with their time, using the Park & Ride service really is the smart move,” added the Translink representative.

“We hope to welcome many more people on board as they make the service part of their daily routine,” said Carol Lundy.
