To celebrate World Book Day on the 2nd March, Asda Coleraine's Community Life Champion, Shelia Palmer, visited Millstrand Integrated Primary School to host a special story-telling session for pupils.

Shelia got into the spirit of things and donned her best fancy dress costume before reading to the pupils from the classic ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’, and kids favourite, ‘Peppa goes Around the World.’

Shelia Palmer, Community Life Champion at Asda Coleraine, said: “We work closely with all of the schools in and around our store and we were delighted to join the pupils at Millstrand Integrated Primary School today. World Book Day is a celebration of reading, and I was thrilled to be able to play a role in helping to bring the books to life for the pupils. Hopefully this will help encourage the children, and their parents, to enjoy sharing a good book together in the future.”
