Milltown Band on the march - June 22

Milltown Accordion Band, now in its 62nd year on the road, are looking forward to the marching season with their highest number of players to date.

Following a difficult number of months at the start of this year, Milltown held a very respectful and dignified evening in memory of founder member, John Lamont, in Cullybackey High School on March 23.

The hall was filled to capacity and the band have thanked all who attended the evening as well as everyone who sent donations and messages of condolence.

Saturday, June 22, will see Milltown hold their annual band parade in Portglenone led by Killycoogan Independent Accordion Band, from 8pm with bands asked to assemble at Chesney Crescent.

Their annual Ulster-Scots evening will be held in Cullybackey High School on October 19, at 7.45pm.

Milltown are extremely grateful for the continued support from the public for all band events.
