Mini Festival at Raceview Mill

The free event, which runs from 10am to 4pm, will have plenty of activities and events suited for the whole family.

From food and drink to face painting and bouncy castles, the County Antrim Mini Festival will also feature song and dance.

Look out for a great selection of catering stalls including a German Grill and all the traditional favourites such as Dinky Donuts, gourmet crepes, burgers, specialist coffee, artisan marshmallows and chocolate.

There will be a children’s zone with bouncy castle, face painter, boats and balls pools and a graffiti art “airbrush factory”.

The music will be lively and you can expect a guest appearance from local songwriter Tiernan Heffron who will be singing some of the tracks which have made him a local internet sensation and earned him the attention of the local music industry.

As part of the Red Brick Coffee House Sessions there will be a live Q&A with MMA champion Alan “The Apprentice” Philpott in which he will be interviewed by former Q Radio host and festival organiser Tony Legend before taking questions from the public about his career thus far.

Local tennis club ATT will also be running a tennis teaser which will be open to all.

Manders Family Attractions are bringing their unique entertainment to the Mini Festival, the highlight being the ‘Bubble Dome’ where you can get inside a giant rubber ball and go running across the water.

There are also ‘Bumper Boats’ and an inflatable slide for the more adventurous festival goer.

There will also be DJ showcases, an aerial drone demonstration, photography stands, arts and craft stalls, organic bread and cheese tasting and a raft of nooks and crannies to be explored in the riverside venue which has been completely redeveloped since the days it was the yard of Patton Construction and now is home to dozens of independent businesses.
