Mini first prize in Hospice draw

It was unveiled as the top prize in Southern Area Hospice Services Car Raffle, to be driven away by one lucky winner later this year!

The 16th Annual Car Raffle Event begins on Monday 5th August 2013 in the Buttercrane Centre, Newry. The lucky winner will also receive one year’s free car insurance, sponsored by Autoline Insurance.

Peter Murray, Buttercrane S.C, Lisa Mulkerns-McCrink, SAHS, Mark Topping, David Prentice MINI, and Caroline Currie, Autoline Insurance launch the MINI Car Raffle.

Look out for the car when you are out and about shopping…it will be on display in Buttercrane, Newry, The Mall S.C. Armagh, Tesco Newry and Tesco Craigavon, tickets, priced at just £1 each will be on sale at these alternating venues and also at Tesco Banbridge. Tickets can also be bought from reception at St. John’s House (SAHS), Newry and from the SAHS fundraising office by telephoning 028 302 51333.

Lisa Mulkerns from Southern Area Hospice Services said it was only through the generosity of local people that the annual raffle was made possible and the hospice could go on providing vital care and support to its patients.

Lisa added: “It will take £2.3 million this year to keep Southern Area Hospice Services operating at its current level, providing support and palliative care to local people with life limiting illnesses. We give our patients and their families’ vital medical, psychological, social and emotional support and strive to enhance their quality of life. Your money can help us do that.”
