Missing cats worry

A number of worried owners have contacted the Ballymoney and Moyle Times for help in finding their lost cats.

And some have expressed concern at the number of incidents of lost cats in recent months.

Two ten-week-old kittens have been reported as lost since September 8th. Missing from Ballymoney, their owner believes they may be in the Coleraine area now.

Maggie is a ginger and white kitten while Kate is black, ginger and white. They belong to a ten-year-old girl who has raised the kittens since birth. Anyone with information is asked to contact 028 2766 8123 or 07544610884.

Meanwhile, two cats have gone missing from the Kilraughts Road area of Ballymoney.

A black and white male cat has been missing since September 4th. He is described as being neutered and microchipped and wearing a red collar.

A female tortoise-shell cat has also been missing since September 6th.

Reader Victoria MacMaikain contacted the Times to express her concern about the number of incidents of cats going missing from the Ballymoney area. She has reported her concerns to Ballymoney Council.
