MISSING MAN UPDATE - police release CCTV pictures of Norman

The stills are taken from the railway station in Ballymoney on the afternoon of Friday 31 July. Although Mr Galbraith was not missing at this time, it is believed that he was wearing the same clothes when he was last seen.

Detective Inspector Alan Pyper said: “Mr Galbraith is described as being of a small, thin build with grey hair. When last seen he was wearing a navy fleece, navy tracksuit bottoms and black shoes. He normally takes medication for high blood pressure and is thought to have injured his head in an unrelated incident several days before he was last seen.

“A wallet belonging to Mr Galbraith was also found on the Burnquarter Road, outside of Ballymoney, on Tuesday 4 August therefore I would ask anyone who believes that they may have seen this man in that area since Friday evening to please contact local police on the 101 number, giving the reference number 1123 of 1 August. As well, police are currently making enquiries into possible sightings in the Ballymoney and Coleraine areas in the early hours of Saturday 2 August.

Police are issuing stills from CCTV footage of missing person, 66 year old Norman Galbraith, who was last seen at his home at Queens Avenue, Ballymoney, on the evening of Friday 31 July.

“Mr Galbraith has now been missing for nearly a week. Again I would ask anyone in the Ballymoney area, Coleraine area, Castlerock area or anywhere nearby to check any outbuildings or sheds in case Mr Galbraith sought shelter in them.”
