Missing Moneymore dog reunited with his family

A family pet whose disappearance outside Moneymore left his owner’s children distraught, has now been returned home.

Jack Russell Patch, who is white with a black ear, was recovered from Drumbonaway Kennels after an online appeal and offers of a substantial reward to find him.

Pound staff said the much loved pooch had been dropped off by the dog warden who collected him the Moneymore area on Monday.

“The wee boy was in tears” when the family collected him said a member of staff at the kennels. “If your dog goes missing contact us.”
