The two guest speakers were Robin Fairbairn, Editor of the Church’s ‘Reachout’ magazine, and Rev Stephen Lockington.

Mr Fairbairn informed the congregation of the work of the Church’s Board of Mission throughout the island of Ireland and challenged the congregation to be willing to share the Good News of Jesus with their family and neighbours.

Rev Stephen Lockington who is ministering in Corboy and Mullingar shared of the work that he and his wife Lesley-Anne are involved in there with the Church’s Board of Mission in Ireland and of how the congregation of Mullingar has outgrown her present building and is now meeting in a local national school as they await the sale of their church building and their new build on a green field site. The ladies of Donagheady provided supper afterwards so an informal time of fellowship was then enjoyed in the Church hall.
