Mission Week at Seapatrick

Seapatrick Parish is inviting everyone who would like to attend their Mission programme ‘Belonging’ which runs until Sunday, March 8.

The Mission Programme which includes two daily Masses, which is conducted by The Redemptorist Mission Team, Father Ciarán O’Callaghan and Father Noel Keogh. One will be held at 6.30am in St Patrick’s Church and another 10am Mass in St Thérèse’s Church.

Each evening there will be a Liturgical Celebration which will give children, young people and adults the opportunity to use their strengths and talents in worship.

Evening Celebrations in St Thérèse’s Church all take place at 8.00pm.

On Tuesday, the ‘Belonging in Community’ service will celebrate the spiritual growth made possible in a community when people serve each other’s needs and care for the wider human family.

‘Belonging in Family’ will be the focus service on Wednesday while on Thursday evening’s liturgy ‘Reconciliation’ gives the opportunity for the forgiveness and reconciliation that is needed in our lives as individuals and members of a world divided by violence, war and greed.

Then on Friday there will be Inter-Church Songs of Praise, a community celebration of our faith in Jesus Christ Our Lord involving the Ministers and members of other Christian denominations.

On Saturday, at 2.30pm there will be Mass and Anointing of the Sick Service organised by the St Vincent de Paul Society followed by refreshments in the Parish Centre.

The 12noon Mass on Sunday, March 8 will focus on family to let the young people take a leading role in the music and prayers. Afterwards the congregation will again be invited for refreshments in the Parish Centre.
