MLA calls for action at Gilford Mill

Mr Anderson said he hoped the ABC Council would take ownership of the site.

“Gilford Mill is the centre piece of the village and taking ownership would allow for opportunities to see further revitalisation and development,” he said.

“I have worked alongside local groups and they are very keen to see Gilford Mill’s future resolved.

“There is a real opportunity to turn a dormant piece of history into an exciting development project.”
