“Henry was as proud as punch to receive his first prize for his eggs on what was only his first time to exhibit at the show.

“I know from speaking to his mum Emma that he and his brothers Luke and Archie will be entering even more of their produce next year.

“Every year we are treated to a colourful display of floral and vegetable horticultural skill, and I congratulate every one of the exhibitors and prize winners on a job well done.

“This year all the proceeds raised from the sale of plants will go to help those suffering from Crohn’s Disease.

“I wish all the members of the Society continued success and hope to see their skills on display at next years show and I will especially be looking out for young Henry, a real star of the future.”
