Moira WI meeting
MOIRA WI members were welcomed by President Mrs Una Tallon to their first meeting of the year this month.
Mr Nigel Spears from Ferguson’s Linen Mill was guest speaker who gave a interesting discussion on the last standing linen processing company in the province.
A vote of thanks was passed by Mrs Muriel Telford and new member Mrs Kathleen Walsh was welcomed.
The competition for a funny Valentine card was won by Mrs Vivien Johnston.
Birthdays were celebrated in January by Mrs Isabel Hamilton and in February by Mrs Elizabeth Logan.
