Money dripping away?
A CHECK is to be made to see if ratepayers' cash has been literally dripping away in Moyle.
The investigation follows claims by Independent councillor Randal McDonnell regarding Moyle Council possibly still being asked for water charges for closed down toilet blocks.
Cllr McDonnell told a Moyle Council meeting he recalled seeing a document which showed 135 in water charges was being paid for toilets at Riverside in Cushendun even though they are closed.
Council officer Aidan McPeake said he would check out the situation.
Mr McPeake said as far as he was aware when public toilets are closed the water is disconnected.
