Money returned to pensioner
Police have praised the public for their assistance after stolen money was returned to its rightful owner.
The substantial sum of cash was stolen during an incident at Tesco Carrickfergus earlier this week.
Chief Inspector Simon Ball said: “I’m pleased to say that the money has now been returned to its rightful owner.
“Police are continuing their investigations into this matter.”
