Representatives from each charity attended a specially organised event on October 5 to collect their cheques, which were presented by Stuart Howard, CEO of The Money Shop and Dollar UK.

“We are delighted to celebrate our investment in the Market Place by presenting these donations to three wonderful local charities,” Mr Howard commented. “Additionally, our £25,000 Giving Fund is live, which will support good causes in communities around the UK, including Lisburn.”

Shaun Cassidy, Regional Director at Special Olympics Ulster, Helen Ashton, Project Manager, Community Circus Lisburn, and Wanda McIlwaine, Charity Administrator at Shopmobility Lisburn, expressed their thanks to Money Shop and its customers for the generous donations.
