Dean James Morrison (19) from Church View is accused of committing the offence on July 15. Police under oath confirmed the charge could be connected.

A prosecution lawyer told East Tyrone Magistrates Court a full file would be required but Deputy District Judge Neil Rafferty asked why this was necessary given the current position of the case.

Instead the matter was listed for update on August 15 with a possible disposal to be discussed. Morrison was remanded on continuing bail.
