The group raised the amazing sum of £1,440 for the Children’s Heartbeat Trust by holding a sponsored buggy walk.

COGS parents and toddlers group decided to raise funds for Children’s Heartbeat Trust after local boy Harlow Mark Robinson underwent open heart surgery last year, when he was just six months old.

“He has been doing so well ever since and is a little blessing,” said Karen Fenner. “The children’s Heartbeat Trust helped little Harlow and his parents through this difficult time.”

The money raised at the event, held at the church on Wednesday, June 1, will help the charity provide services for local children living with heart disease.
